Minutes
- Mr. Coad provided a list of improvements over the last year - totaling over 5.5 million dollars.
- Many projects were funded by a combination of Building Fund, Permanent Improvement and ESSER.
- Discussed a tentative plan for facility improvements for the next 5 years. This list is not reliable tho as it must change as situations arise.
- List only serves as a guide.
- Mr. Yaniglos reviewed how the overall plan tracks within the Permanent Improvement fund.
- Many projects are split over fiscal years.
- The High School Auditorium has been identified as a potential issue after the winter with heavy snow and lots of rain.
- 13 leaks were repaired recently.
- Just installed new projectors and screens - water leaks are dangerously close to this new equipment.
- Recall - Summer of 22 roof project bid was almost $300,000 under bid estimate. Reaching out to vendor to honor same pricing and to perform a change order to include the auditorium room for replacement this summer.
- 2 Options - 1 in front of BOE and 1 in Back of BOE
- Option 1 has grading issues (steep hill)
- Option 2 may impact the Cross Country path slightly.
- Will not be possible for start of 2022-2023 school year.
- Would provide another exit from the campus in the future.
- Will explore after we see how traffic is this year with the new plan.
- As of now there are no plans other than temporary storage.
- Thus, the best option may be to demolish after we know outcomes of Highland and Chippewa.
